WARRANTY POLICY

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

This Warranty Policy explains the general warranty and after-sales standards applying to products promoted through Bloke Den and sold through an official Bloke Den sales platform.

Bloke Den currently works with, or may work with, the following official sales platforms:

  • OZSHED — www.ozshed.com, primarily serving customers in Australia;
  • Bloke Den Shop — shop.blokeden.com, intended primarily for customers outside Australia.

The legal seller responsible for an individual purchase will be identified during checkout, in the order confirmation, or on the invoice.

The transaction-specific policy displayed by the relevant sales platform at the time of purchase will govern that order. However, the general warranty principles described below represent the standard customers should normally expect across the Bloke Den sales network.

1. Standard Commercial Warranty

Unless a different warranty period is expressly stated on the relevant product page, eligible products are covered by a 12-month commercial warranty beginning on the date of delivery.

The commercial warranty applies to eligible defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal and intended use.

Certain batteries, consumable parts, accessories, refurbished products, clearance products, demonstration products, or specialized equipment may have different warranty periods. Where a product page states a specific warranty period, that product-specific period will apply.

2. Local Consumer Law Takes Priority

This commercial warranty is provided in addition to any statutory consumer rights available under applicable law.

Where the law applicable to the customer provides a longer, broader, or otherwise more favorable guarantee, warranty, remedy, or protection than this policy, the mandatory local requirement will apply.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, guarantee, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

3. What the Warranty Covers

Subject to assessment, the warranty may cover:

  • manufacturing defects;
  • faulty components;
  • electrical or mechanical failure during normal use;
  • products that materially fail to operate as described;
  • defects that existed at delivery but were not reasonably visible at that time.

Depending on the product, defect, location, parts availability, and applicable law, an approved remedy may include:

  • troubleshooting or technical assistance;
  • replacement parts;
  • repair;
  • replacement;
  • partial refund;
  • full refund.

Where applicable law gives the customer the right to choose a particular remedy, that legal right will take priority.

4. What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The commercial warranty does not normally cover failure or damage caused by:

  • accidental damage, dropping, impact, crushing, fire, flooding, or external events;
  • misuse, abuse, neglect, or use outside the product’s intended purpose;
  • incorrect installation, assembly, charging, operation, storage, or maintenance;
  • failure to follow instructions or safety warnings;
  • use with incompatible accessories, batteries, chargers, power supplies, or equipment;
  • unauthorized repair, modification, disassembly, or alteration;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • cosmetic deterioration that does not affect normal function;
  • rust, corrosion, moisture, dust, heat, cold, or environmental exposure beyond the product’s stated rating;
  • commercial, industrial, rental, or unusually intensive use where the product was supplied for normal personal use;
  • loss, theft, or deliberate damage;
  • damage caused during an unauthorized or inadequately packed return.

Water-resistant products are not necessarily waterproof. Water damage is covered only where the product was used within its stated rating and the failure resulted from an eligible manufacturing defect.

5. Batteries and Consumable Parts

Rechargeable batteries and consumable components naturally lose performance through age and use.

Normal reduction in battery capacity is not considered a manufacturing defect. Abnormal battery failure may be covered where it results from an eligible defect rather than normal degradation, improper charging, extreme temperatures, misuse, or unsuitable long-term storage.

Product-specific battery warranty terms shown on the product page will apply.

6. Warranty Extension Following Repair

Where a product or component is repaired under an approved warranty claim, the commercial warranty applying to the repaired product or repaired component will be extended by six months from the original commercial warranty expiry date.

The scope of the extension may depend on whether the repair affected the entire product or a specific component.

Where applicable law provides a longer repair warranty, renewed guarantee period, suspended limitation period, or other more favorable protection, the local legal requirement will apply.

7. Replacement Products

A replacement product or component may be new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent where permitted by law.

A replacement will be covered for:

  • the remainder of the original commercial warranty;
  • any additional period confirmed in writing; or
  • any longer period required by applicable law,

whichever gives the customer greater protection.

8. Australian Customers

Some products sold through OZSHED are held in Australian stock and may be eligible for local assessment, repair, replacement, or return.

Australian stock does not mean every product can be returned to the same warehouse. A return or service location will be provided after the claim has been approved.

For Australian consumers, this policy operates in addition to all rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law. These rights may continue beyond the stated commercial warranty period.

9. International Customers

International warranty claims may be handled through:

  • remote troubleshooting;
  • replacement parts;
  • local repair arrangements where available;
  • replacement shipment;
  • return to an authorized service location;
  • partial or full refund where appropriate.

The authorized service or return location may be in Australia, China, the customer’s country, or another designated location.

Customers must not send products to an Australian warehouse, Chinese warehouse, registered office, or address printed on the original parcel without written authorization.

10. Making a Warranty Claim

Contact the customer service team shown on your order confirmation or contact:

Email: support@blokeden.com

Please provide:

  • full name;
  • order number;
  • product name and model;
  • delivery date;
  • description of the problem;
  • photographs or video;
  • serial number, where applicable;
  • troubleshooting steps already attempted.

Reasonable diagnostic steps may be required before a return, repair, replacement, or refund is approved.

11. Platform-Specific Terms

This policy explains the general warranty standard of the Bloke Den sales network.

For a product purchased through OZSHED, the warranty policy published on OZSHED at the time of purchase will govern the transaction.

For a product purchased through shop.blokeden.com, the policy published on that platform at the time of purchase will govern the transaction.

If a transaction-platform policy provides more favorable protection than this general policy, the more favorable term will normally apply, subject to applicable law.
